Before you ask

The questions we get every week.

Why 200 guests?

Below 200 the table looks thin and the set-up costs more per head than it is worth to you. Under 200, our guest packages on the bite-size page do the same job for less.

How far ahead should we book?

Three weeks is comfortable. Wedding season in Karachi is December to February, and dates go early. If yours is in that window, talk to us a couple of months out.

What holds our date?

A 50% deposit. Until that is paid, the date stays open to anyone else asking for it.

Can you go outside Karachi?

Yes, with a travel charge and a night for the team. Tell us the venue when you send the request and we will price it properly.

Eggless, nut-free, diabetic?

Our Dutch Truffle cake can be made eggless, and several pieces are nut-free. Tell us the count and we will build that into the menu instead of leaving guests out.

Is the wedding cake included?

No. The cake is priced separately and designed with you. The dessert table and the cake usually share a colour and a finish. See our wedding cakes.

Is the estimate final?

It is a guide so you can plan. Your fixed quote follows the tasting, once desserts, layout and venue are agreed, and it is written down before you pay anything.

How much notice does a wedding cake need?

Tiered and wedding cakes need 5 days’ notice; other custom cakes need 2. Book the cake with your tasting so the sketch and flavours are settled in good time.

How many favours can we order, and how soon?

Bid boxes start at 50 and are ready in seven days. You save 5% from 100 boxes and 10% from 250. Your names and date are printed on every lid, free on wedding orders.

Do you cater the smaller functions?

Yes, from 15 guests: dholkis, mayuns, showers, dawats and birthdays, with guest packages on the bite-size page. Orders need 48 hours’ notice and a 50% advance confirms them.

Can we send inspiration photos?

Yes, please. Email them to Coco9cafe@gmail.com or send them on WhatsApp to 0311 112 6269 with your names and date. The website form cannot take attachments.
