This Privacy Policy explains how Coco 9 (“Coco 9”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you shop with us at coco9.pk, join the Coco 9 Club, or use the Coco 9 mobile app. By using our site, Club, or app, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

When you browse or shop

Device and usage information — your browser type, IP address, time zone, the pages you view, and similar details, collected through cookies and similar technologies to help our site work and improve it.
Order information — your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, delivery date and time slot, and the contents of your order. Payment is processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers; card details are entered on Shopify’s secure checkout and are never collected or stored by us. We also accept bank transfer and cash on delivery where offered.
Messages you write — gift notes, cake messages, and any notes you add to an order.

When you join the Coco 9 Club (on our website or app)

Your member details — the name, WhatsApp number, birthday (day and month only, never the year), favourite colour, and any address or preferences you add to your profile.
Your orders and rewards — your order history, loyalty points balance, and gift-card balance.
Dates you save — the occasions and reminder dates you add to your Calendar.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

process and deliver your orders, including arranging delivery with our riders and courier partners;
run your account and operate the Coco 9 Club — points, reminders, your saved dates, and your membership card;
contact you about your orders and deliveries (including by WhatsApp or phone where needed);
email you reminders about the dates you save, along with order confirmations and receipts;
provide customer support; and
keep our site, Club, and app secure and reliable.

We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

The Coco 9 mobile app

When you use the Coco 9 iOS app, in addition to the information described above, we collect and process:

Your member details — the name, WhatsApp number, birthday (day and month only, never the year), and preferences you add to your profile.
Your orders and rewards — your order history, loyalty points balance, and gift-card balance.
Messages you write — gift notes and any notes you add to an order.
Diagnostics — crash and performance data, so we can fix problems.

How we use it: to run your account, prepare and deliver your gifts, operate the Coco 9 Club (points, reminders, and your membership card), provide support, and keep the app reliable. We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Who processes it for us: Shopify (accounts, checkout, and payment for physical goods), Supabase (our app database and functions), Apple Wallet / PassKit (your membership card, if you add it), Sentry (crash diagnostics), and our email provider (reminders and receipts). Payment card details are entered on Shopify’s secure checkout and are never collected by the app.

Your control: you can edit your details in the app at any time, and delete your account and member data from Account → Delete account.

Children: the app is not directed to children.

Who processes your information for us (website and Club)

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Coco 9, and only what each one needs:

Shopify — our store, accounts, checkout, and payment for physical goods;
Supabase — our Club database and functions;
our email provider — reminders and receipts;
our delivery riders and courier partners — to deliver your orders.

We do not sell your information.

Reminders and emails

Reminders about the dates you save are sent by email. You can stop them at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, by removing the saved date, or by contacting us.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to run the store, remember your cart, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements. You can edit your details at any time in your Club account or in the app, and you can delete your account and member data from Account → Delete account, or by emailing us.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can edit or delete your Club profile yourself. To make a request, email us at Coco9cafe@gmail.com.

Children

Our website, Club, and app are not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above.
